Wintec Easy Change Gullet Set

The Complete Easy-Change Gullet System Kit is designed for use in saddles featuring the Easy-Change Gullet System. The Easy-Change Gullet System Complete Kit contains an Easy-Change gullet gauge, five gullet plates, along with all the fixings for fitting them in your saddle. Medium/Black gullet not included, as it is fitted as standard in all standard saddles, except for the High Wither, which is fitted with a Medium Narrow/Green gullet. The Easy-Change gullet gauge is a tool to help you select the correct size gullet to fit your horse. You can also use the gullet gauge to monitor any changes in your horse’s muscling every three to six months.

About the Easy-Change Gullet System:
The Easy-Change Gullet System is exclusive to Bates Saddles and Wintec Saddles, offering a means of altering the width of the Elastiflex tree. The Elastiflex tree is designed to be rigid through the length of the saddle, while possessing true lateral flexion to work with the horse’s muscles. The tree width is determined by the size of gullet plate fitted between the tree points. The gullet plate governs the width of the tree from the waist to the tree points. Genuine Easy-Change Gullet Plates are engineered to be completely rigid, ensuring they cannot spread, or change shape under normal usage. Gullet plates are color coded by size and will remain true to their size throughout their life. Only genuine Easy-Change Gullet Plates are accredited for use in saddles featuring the Easy-Change Gullet System. The use of non-genuine component parts will void any manufacturer warranty.
